Beijing Olympics Closing Ceremony

Leona Lewis is currently singing! In the Beijing Olympics closing ceremony. I don't know what the song has gotta do with the olympics. She keeps singing "Gonna somethingsomething my love". And there's this old man with her playing an electric guitar.


Oh and now David Beckham is rising up on stage. And kicking a ball. Haha.

I WILL MISS THE OLYMPICS! The stars that I'll miss (no order):

1) Micheal Phelps. Swimmer. US.

2) Usain Bolt. Athlete. Jamaica.

3) Shawn Johnson. Gymnast. US.

4) Nasta Liukin (I think that's her name). Gymnast. US.

5) Samuel. Marathon runner. Kenya. (Although I only saw him run a little)


Too bad I didn't see Tom Daley dive. Must be damn good. And Quinn keeps calling him a POMMY which pisses Isabelle off. I like that word. Pommy! It means Brits. Offensive term though I think ha.

I will miss watching stuff like the athletics, gymnastics, cycling and stuff.


Sucks. I totally missed out on the long jump events. But I did watch a bit of the triple jump.


I can't wait for London Olympics 2012. And also, Singapore Youth Olympics 2010. Although I wonder where it's gonna be hosted since Singapore is so small and the Sports Hub is kinda delayed.

My knowledge of the Olympic stars is very limited. Haha.


I don't really get all the dancing and singing in the ceremony. It doesn't make sense at all. I don't think London has as much culture as Beijing. Therefore, I think the performance will be less cultural. So I don't know what to expect actually haha. If I had watched the Athens 2004 Olympics, I might know a bit. Haha.

So this is the 29th Olympic! (I think). Ok now, some old ladies are singing and it's kinda painful.


Don't think they're gonna get rid of the Bird's Nest after the Olympics right? So therefore, those in Beijing who run on the track, are stepping on the ground that the best Olympians had pounded their feet on. Awesome eh?


16 days of awesome sports man. I can't keep my eyes off the tv, preventing me from mugging for the prelims. Haha. All worth it though. These kinda things come once in four years. (Although the prelims are once in our lives haha.)

I have watched pole vault yesterday I think. The guy with the goldilocks from Australia won. Surname's Hooker if I remember right haha.

Jackie Chan is singing! And he is smiling like a retard!

I can't believe I missed out on the torch ceremony. During the opening ceremony. Stupid. I think I should go and watch it on the recorded one on my player someday. But I'm not missing out on any part of the putting out of the flame part.

Erm. What is wrong with the television? Did I miss out the flame put out? Cos' now, the stupid tv is like, I don't know muted? And it shows a none moving picture of the Olympic Torch. Diao? OMG I'm such a loser for missing out the part. Oh and now, it says LONDON 2012 PARTY with a logo. HUH?! At least unmute the TV! It's scary!

WOW Finally! It's back to the stage. I thought my TV was broken. Ok so now, Beijing Olympics is officially over. Can someone like, tell me how the flame was put out? Thank you. I'm such an idiot for missing it! I think it was cos' I was typing or something.
