Eeyer. I was forced to read YESTERDAY'S newspaper. Cos' I forgot to read it. Anyway, there was this article by Lee Kuan You/Yew (how to spell ah?) that was talking about the Olympics. Beijing olympics.

WTF LA. If you think that Singaporeans suck at sports, it doesn't mean you have to send people from other countries to represent us right?

If you want to send them, you don't have to call them "Team Singapore" but "Team Singapore + Other Countries". It's cos' they don't play so well in their country and therefore come to this country to "represent" us.

AND YOUR PAYING THEM?! They get silver or what gold, bronze whatever and your paying them when THEY ARE NOT FROM SINGAPORE?

Too ashamed to send our Singaporean atheletes? If I had the power, I would send those people from other countries back to where they came from and might as well not send anyone to the games if no one can get that kinda timing or whatever. Like, the sprinter Calvin Kang? He is singaporean. So he should get our full support. Tao Li? She came to Singapore from China when she was a kid but I am not exactly sure what her motive was - education or the same as the others. If it's the same as the others... Aiya.

And those others, how could you betray your country like that? If you really love your country, you should use your talent in that country and not "represent" other countries. You should be proud of your talent. Show the world that this kind of talent is from country abc, not country def.
