OHOHOHOH. I read this magazine. Talking about the top 7 olympians and one ceremony. I can remember these:
1) The best ceremony.
2) The most unsung victory.
3) The most prefect. (Nadia Comareci!)
4) The best comeback.
5) The worst injury. (I forgot how it was phrased. But it meant like that.)
6) The biggst political statement.
7) Can't remember.
8) Can't remember.
My favourite story was the number 5. It's freaking touching I tell you! This 400m runner. He won in the quarter finals. If I'm not wrong, this was the finals. He ran about... 200m I think. Then, he broke(I think. Or what, sprain?) his hemstring muscle and fell down. There were stretchers brought to him. But he pushed himself up, and tried to hobble to the finishing line. Then, when his daddy saw it from the grandstand, he climbed out. The guards tried to stop him but they couldn't stop him. He ran to his son and then carried him and they both made it for the finishing line. When they got near, his father let go to let him finish the race himself. His determination is... Wah. I forgot which year was that Olympics but I think it is 1992. I think. There was a picture. And he was grimacing like my God. He looked like he wanted to cry.
The most perfect! Nadia Comareci! OMG She's that perfect gymnast! She got 10/10 for one of the events. I think it was vault. Now, the min. age to get into olympics for a gymnast is 16. She was 14. But who cares? It's still perfect. Although she must have been more flexible. It was 1976 olympics I think.
I wanna go youth olympics!
I wanna go US and take part in Odyssey of the Mind International!
LOL So random. But I really want to go to OM international. We were so close last year! LOL. Although last year's champion for division one got champion for the international one. Lol.
I wanna rep singapore for the youth olympics long jump! Aiya you may say that, "Walao she didn't win any freaking medal still want to go youth olympics." People have to suck first before they become good. And plus, I had a leg injury so it wasn't that accurate. Oh yeah call me an over-ambitious bitch. Whatever LOL.
