Knock

This short story is about 2 sentences. It's the last two sentences of the story, knock. I took 30min to read it (slow reader) and when I was done I smiled to myself cos' it was just so. Idk how to finish that sentence haha.
When I first read the two sentences, I really thought it was a scary story but turns out, it wasn't. The story explains how it isn't. In fact, the sentence was a good thing in the story.
It's a nice piece of literature it's really worth your time reading :) For me, at least.

"The last man on Earth sat alone in a room. There was a knock on the
