"Take time to deeply analyze this photo. Here is a normal Ethiopian kid in line trying to get a drink of water. You can seen the pain in his eyes. It may not be shown here, but behind him is a long chain of people waiting in line just to get even the smallest sip of water. Where we live, water is just something that gets thrown around a lot, something we bathe in swimming pools with, something we can find very easily. To these people, even the slightest sip of water, they have the feeling that they have struck gold. To us, water is just something we drink when we get thirsty. To them, water is a blessing they get every so often because they can’t afford to buy over the counter water bottles like we can. Now before you go on with your life, you see a water bottle next to you? Why not finish it and appreciate you have that water than just throwing it away later on? You’re lucky you even have it. I just found the photo so captivating."
And wowww it just so happens that I have a bottle of water beside me
